COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP/WCSC) - AT&T is hiring for dozens of new jobs in South Carolina.
The telecommunications company said Tuesday that it will hire about 60 new technician and retail positions across the state, with 43 of the openings located across Charleston, North Charleston, Summerville and Georgetown.
Officials say AT&T invested nearly $140 million in its wireless and wired networks in South Carolina in the first half of this year. From 2010 to 2012, the company invested more than $850 million in its wireless and wired networks in the state.
AT&T currently employs more than 2,400 employees throughout South Carolina. More information on the new positions is available at http://att.jobs/ .
