ALEDO, TX (WFAA/WCSC/CNN) - A parent of a Texas high school football player says a blowout is the same as bullying.

The Aledo High School football team in Texas defeated Western Hills High School last week, by the score of 91-0.

The father of a Western Hills player claims running up the score was an act of bullying, and that the Aledo coaches should have done something to stop it. The parent has filed a complaint with the school district.

According to the Star-Telegram, Aledo coach Tim Buchanan said he was excited about the scoring in the first half of the game, but then thought, "what the heck am I going to do?"

Buchanan told the Fort Worth newspaper he pulled his starters on offense after only 21 snaps, and that a running clock was implemented in the third quarter. He also said his quarterbacks only threw a combined 10 passes.

The winning coach says his team did nothing wrong and is trying to get ready for the playoffs.
