Gas leak secured in downtown Charleston

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Authorities say a gas leak in downtown Charleston has been secured.

According to emergency officials, a gas leak was reported Thursday afternoon at 35 Lockwood Drive.

Charleston Fire Department officials previously blocked off Lockwood from Bee Street to the off ramp of the James Island Expressway as crews responded to the leak, but the roads have since been reopened.
