BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The Berkeley County Coroner's Office has identified two brothers who died in a fatal accident on Highway 41 Sunday night.
Coroner Bill Salisbury says 23-year-old Christopher Bracewell and 20-year-old Jonathan Bracewell died after their car collided with another vehicle at the intersection of North Hampton Road and Highway 41 around 6:30 p.m.
Troopers say a Ford Focus driven by Christopher was traveling on South Hampton Road, failed to stop at the Highway 41 intersection and was hit by an oncoming vehicle.
Both brothers were pronounced dead at the scene.
There were four passengers in the oncoming GMC Yukon, including two children. All of them were taken to the hospital. No word on their condition.
Troopers say all six people were wearing seat belts.
