Traffic moving after early morning accident on I-526

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

All three lanes on I-526 westbound now moving after being shutdown for nearly an hour Friday morning, according to South Carolina DOT traffic cameras.

Dispatchers with Charleston Police say an overturned truck shutdown I-526 near the Don Holt Bridge just before 5 am.

No  word on what caused the accident or if there are any injuries. We are working to get more details.

    Charleston police officers are crediting a concerned citizen for four arrests on Tuesday morning.A department spokesperson said they received a tip about several men with handguns along Norman Street at around 1am.After a responding officer tried to pull over a vehicle with several males inside, the men fled on foot.
