The Tuskegee Golden Tigers took on Central State Saturday as their opponent during homecoming and walked away with a 41-10 win.
In the first quarter Central State held the ball, but Tuskegee's defense was quick to strike and Reginald Woods had the interception, returning it to the 2-yard line. On the next play Michael Thornton went in for the touchdown to put Tuskegee on the board first.
In the second quarter with a game at 7 to 3, the Golden Tigers had the ball inside the five. Joshua Crowe took the ball from a yard out to bring the score up to 13-3.
Central State made its own touchdown and brought the score to 13-10.
Former Troy Trojan Christopher Anderson took the carry, and shooting from a cannon made a 34-yard carry. The score then 20-10.
Just before the half, Justin Nared at quarterback threw the fade to Larry Cobb for a score of 27-10.
The Golden Tigers move to 8-1 on the season with a final score of 41-10.
