BEAUFORT COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

Investigators have arrested four 18 year olds in connection to the armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver in Beaufort County.

The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office have arrested Darrin Lee Peeks, Aki Daron Franklin, Donald James Franlkin II and Robert Lee Green, Jr.

Authorities say the teens' arrest stems from an incident on Oct. 16 where the victim was delivering pizza to a home on Needles Road around 9:30 p.m. An incident report states the suspects reportedly placed the order by phone then waited in some nearby woods for the driver to arrive.

According to the sheriff's office, as the victim was walking down the driveway, the teens approached him and put a gun to his face, then demanded he hand everything he had on him.

The victim said he gave the suspects his wallet, cell phone and the food he was delivering. The suspects then fled the area.

Officials with the sheriff's office say the investigation remains active and additional charges may be pending.
