Wando will have a chance to win their 2nd state volleyball title and 1st since 1993 this weekend after the Warriors pulled out a 5 set win over Aiken to earn a spot in the title game on Saturday.
The Warriors won the first two sets 25-17, 25-17 before dropping the next two sets 23-25, 22-25. But Alexis Glover's team had one more in them as they took the final set 15-9 to move on to the finals against Hillcrest at White Knoll Saturday night.
It was a bit of revenge for Wando (46-5), who lost in this same match in the Lower State Finals last year to the same Aiken squad.
Elisa Aldrich led the way with 12 kills on the night while Natalie Tucker had 36 assists.
