CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston police say a man who was found unconscious in a vehicle Monday night was trying to get high on a can of compressed air.
Adam Buchner, 29, was arrested Monday and charged with unlawful use of aromatic hydrocarbons.
According to an incident report, Buchner was found unconscious in the driver's seat of his Ford Ranger around 9:45 p.m. at 1580 Ashley Gardens Blvd. Officers say a can of Ultra Duster could be seen laying on his lap.
Police say Buchner was removed from the truck and soon became responsive.
The report states Buchner told police he was not suicidal and was only trying to get high from the can of compressed air.
The suspect was taken to the Charleston County Detention Center. His bond was set at $1,062.
