Police: Man points gun at woman at Upstate anger management class

SPARTANBURG, SC (WYFF) - Spartanburg police are looking for two men who witnesses say walked into a business during an anger-management class, pointed a gun and stole money.

Police said they were called to the "Family, You can't beat them" business on College Street at 6 p.m. Monday.

Witnesses told police that two men came into the business and walked past the front desk.

The woman at the front desk told police she asked the men what they were there for and they said they were there for the anger-management class.

The woman said when she told the men she didn't recognize them, one of them told her a name and said, "You know why we are here. Let's not do this."

She said that man then took a handgun from his waistband, cocked the weapon and pointed it at her.

She said the man then reached out and grabbed some cash and left.

Police have not released the amount of money stolen.

The woman at the front desk and another woman tried to run out and get a better view of the men, but they said the men jumped into a black car and sped off.
