Lowcountry Athletes Sign National Letters Of Intent

A round up of the Lowcountry natives who signed national letters of intent on signing day Wednesday. 

Dekeiya Cohen, West Ashley, Basketball - Signed to play at Baylor after averaging over 26 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals last year. 

Karen Grant, West Ashley, Lacrosse - Signed with Winthrop

Aaleeyah Brimmer, West Ashley, Lacrosse - Signed with Emmanuel College

Matthew Adams, Bishop England, Swimming - Heading to Alabama after being a 4 time state champion, 5 time all state selection and breaking two state record last year in the 100 Freestyle and 200 IM. 

Michele Boykin, Bishop England, Basketball- Will be heading to the Michigan school after averaging over 16 ppg last season and being a two time player of the year by the High School Sports Report. 

Chris Singleton, Goose Creek, Baseball - Signs with Charleston Southern. 

DeMetre Rivers, Stratford, Basketball - Signs with Mercer after he averaged over 18 points and 7 rebounds. 

RJ Keur, Ft. Dorchester, Golf - Signs with Charleston Southern. 

Tyre Moore, Academic Magnet, Basketball - Signed with Mercer after averaging over 22 points per game last season. 

Alexandra Gilbert, Academic Magnet, Lacrosse - Signs with Columbia College

James Koval, Academic Magnet, Swimming - Signs with West Virginia

Hunter Leckonby, Academic Magnet, Lacrosse - Signs with Chestnut Hill College

Aubrey Rabon, Ashley Ridge, Softball - The Catcher, who's been a 3 time all state selection, signed with South Carolina.
