TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A 68-year-old man is dead after a rollover crash on West Ajo Way and South Lundy.

He has been identified as George Enrique Tequida.

The driver and sole occupant of one of the vehicles suffered from minor injuries.

Traffic Investigators learned that a 1994 Nissan Pathfinder was traveling westbound on West Ajo Way in the inside traffic Lane.

Mr. Tequida had been driving a 2005 Nissan Sentra eastbound on West Ajo Way inside traffic lane. The driver of the Nissan Pathfinder merged into the two-way left turn lane in preparation to make a left turn at South 12th Avenue.

While driving in the area of the two-way left turn, the Nissan Pathfinder crossed into the eastbound lanes of traffic, causing a head-on collision.

The collision caused the Nissan Pathfinder to overturn in the roadway. The Nissan Sentra was forcefully rotated and ultimately came to stop on the south side of the roadway.

Investigators have ruled out drugs and alcohol. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is on going.
