Westbound traffic on I-26 in Ladson is back to normal following a multi-vehicle accident Monday night.
The accident was in the area of Exit 203 to College Park Road and had traffic backed up for miles. At one point, authorities had shut down all lanes as crews responded to the incident.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, seven vehicles were involved in the accident and there were no serious injuries.
Berkeley County emergency officials say a mass casualty unit had been called to the scene.
Fire and emergency crews also responded to the scene.
