DORCHESTER COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Dorchester County deputies say two men were arrested Thursday night after one of the suspects robbed a pharmacy at gunpoint, demanding medication and pain pills.
Jonathon Andrew Carter Sr., 30, and David Mount, 30, have been charged with armed robbery.
According to a release, Carter entered a Walgreens located at 9998 Dorchester Road just before 9:30 p.m. and gave an employee a note asking for medication and pain pills.
Deputies say Carter told the employee he had a gun, and showed an employee what appeared to be a gun in his waistband.
Carter then left the store and was followed by witnesses outside.
The release states deputies were able to locate Carter, who was found nearby with Mount.
Both men are being held at the Dorchester County Detention Center.
