DULUTH, MN (KQDS/CNN) - A Minnesota hospital is welcoming a new member to the team.
Her name is Estell and she has some state-of-the-art tricks.
She's the newest addition to Essentia Health Saint Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, MN.
Estell uses powerful flashes of ultraviolet light to help kill germs in patients rooms and operating areas.
"I think it's very exciting again it's one more thing we can do to keep our patients safe and I think our staff are really excited to hear about it and see it in action," Infection Prevention Manager Cindi Welch said.
It takes Estell about 15 minutes to clean up one room.
