Kansas to boast tallest and fastest water slide in the world
(CNN) – Calling all daredevils! Officials at the Schlitterbahn Kansas City Park say they are building what will be the world's most extreme water slide.
No details about the ride's height or speed are being released yet.
The Meg-A-Blaster will reportedly be taller and faster than the current record holder, a slide in Brazil that stands nearly 135 feet above the ground.
Layne Pitcher, the park's director of marketing and sales says people who line up won't be disappointed.
"I will definitely be on this ride once it's open," Pitcher said. "It's going to be incredible; the view from up top is amazing. You can see downtown from here which is a lot of fun to think about going down right now."
