GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

Authorities are looking for the people responsible for stealing a 36-foot boat and a truck from a Georgetown business.

The Georgetown Police Department say that between Saturday afternoon and early Sunday morning, four to five people entered the Tailwalker Marine on Highmarket Street by driving a stolen van through the fence.

Once inside, authorities say the thieves stole a 2013 36-foot Yellowfin with a hull identification number YFY3633F314. Authorities say the boat had three Yamaha Outboard Engines with engine ID numbers 6CEU-1010058, 6CEX-1010316 and 6CFX-1004010.

Police say the boat trailer is a 2013 Yellowfin 36 FT trailer, Make Amera Trail, VIN 4DJAB3632DA006981.

Also stolen was a 2006 Ford F350 Dooley SC tag P351006. The logo on the back of the truck is "Boats For Sports Fishermen By Sports Fishermen." According to authorities, an additional tag was stolen off a truck with tag number P340658.

Investigators say the stolen vehicle the thieves used to break the business' fence was used to transport motors and props from the business. The tag on the van is SC tag # EGH 814, VIN is 1FTPS2422XHB24O55.

If you have any information you are asked to call Sgt Jason Ward with the Georgetown Police Department at (843) 545-4373.
