Live 5 Meteorologist Justin Lock has your soggy Tuesday forecast:
A good soaking is on the way to the Lowcountry with rainfall totals easily topping an inch or more.
Today, expect rain to become widespread and at times heavy by midday. A few stronger thunderstorms are not out of the question either. Highs will climb into the upper 60s inland and along the coast with a breezy south wind.
It looks like the heaviest of the rain will arrive
around lunch and extend through the afternoon.
Tonight, rain will continue although not as widespread with mild temps in the low 60s.
On getaway Wednesday, the rain will be gone and temps fall through the day on a breezy northwest wind. Highs by the afternoon will be in the low 50s.
Have a great and safe Tuesday!
Tough for the following hubs: Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Charlotte with rain and some snow up north with ice. Great lakes snowy! Out west looks good and dry.
