CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Police are in Lorain County pursuing an on-foot search near the intersection of State Route 83 and 57, in Grafton Township, after a suspect bailed from his moving vehicle.

Angel David Santana Maisonet, wanted for multiple instances of aggravated robbery, led police in his burgundy, Honda Accord from Cuyahoga County to Lorain County.

Officers arrived to the area of W. 32 St. and Lorain Ave. early Friday evening to locate 44-year-old Maisonet. Officers attempted to pull Maisonet over with sirens and lights, however, he fled from officers.

Once the vehicle left the City of Cleveland, the Ohio State Highway Patrol took over the pursuit.

During the pursuit North Ridgeville Police deployed stop sticks to stop the suspects vehicle.

All four tires were deflated, but Maisonet continued to flee from police. He jumped out of his car and fled to a wooded area.

Multiple police agencies are now involved in the search for Maisonet.

He was last seen wearing khaki pants and a blue, hooded sweatshirt. Police say he may have a handgun.
