LAS VEGAS – The Tigers were the high-roller in Las Vegas – and may score big in the next Associated Press poll.

Three Tigers (7-0) scored more than 20 points in an 83-70 win over the Nevada Wolf Pack (3-5) in the final round of the Las Vegas Invitational Friday night.

The Wolf Pack trailed by as many as 21 points and pulled within six points in the second half before the Tigers pulled away to win by 13.

Guard Earnest Ross put on a show – 28 points, nine rebounds and going 12-of-13 from the free throw line. Guards Jabari Brown and Jordan Clarkson added 24 and 21 points, respectively.

The Tigers shot well in the game, going 31-for-33 from the free throw line, despite only making 30 percent of their 3-pointers and shooting nearly 47 percent from field goal range.

Mizzou went 4-0 in the round-robin style tournament, and finished as co-champion with No. 19-ranked UCLA.

The game was the second straight win since head coach Frank Haith returned from serving his five-game suspension.

The Tigers next game is at home against the West Virginia Mountaineers Thursday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN 2.
