CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston Police say 21-year-old Louis Lattore Warren has turned himself in to authorities Saturday.

Police say Warren was wanted for discharging a firearm into a downtown home Thursday morning.

The incident occurred at an apartment in the 1300 block of Ashley Avenue on Thursday around 9 a.m.

According to an incident report, a person inside the home heard a single gunshot, and then saw a bullet hole in her bedroom wall. On a wall opposite of the bullet hole inside the room was an indention, and a depleted round was found on her bed.

Police say a shell casing was found in the grass near the northeast corner of 1338 Ashley Avenue.

A witness at the scene who originally told cops he did not hear anything, later admitted to hearing a single gunshot and seeing two men get into a white Chevy Malibu before pulling off, the report states.
