CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - There have been two break-ins at the Lowcountry Orphan Relief this month, according to officials at the center.
A spokesperson says the latest attempted break-in happened over the weekend.
The center is located on Truxtun Avenue in North Charleston. Officials say someone was breaking into a window before they were scared away by an employee.
According to officials, earlier this month a check and a laptop were stolen from the center.
The Lowcountry Orphan Relief provides help to children who have been abused or neglected.
