    Pete Ambrose chose to hear the bad news first.Late Monday, the farmer and owner of Ambrose Farms on Wadmalaw Island got wind of a $1092 citation issued by The City of Charleston, for advertising signs he posted on city property.The signs read, U-Pick Strawberries and list a phone number for Ambrose Farms. HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Bass Pro Shops in Myrtle Beach will be honoring local heroes in the area on Sunday, December 15,  2013 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. 

Hero's Night is an event to honor local heroes such as: firefighters, police and paramedics, EMT's, war veterans, soldiers, military personnel, and their families. This event will include free photos with Santa, 10 percent discount on regular-priced items, including photo packages purchased in store on Local Hero Night only (a Military-type discount).

The first 100 heroes will also get a free ornament. There will be free crafts while supplies last, and a drawing each half-hour from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
