WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Williamsburg County investigators say they have arrested two suspects who robbed a bank in Hemingway Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Hemingway Police Department, two men wearing masks entered the Anderson Brothers Bank on 311 E. Broad Street around 11:55 a.m.
Police say the men demanded cash, received money and took off on foot.
The bank tellers said they believed the men had guns, but the suspects did not show a weapon.
Hemingway High School was put on lockdown as investigators responded to the scene.
