CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

A 24-year-old West Ashley man has been arrested after police say it was discovered he was having a sexual relationship with a minor.

Ronald David Ratliff was arrested Tuesday and charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor.

According to an incident report, officers were called to West Ashley home around 12:45 a.m. Sunday after a homeowner found Ratliff inside his home. Ratliff ran from the home after he was spotted.

Police say the victim, a 15-year-old girl, told officers she gave Ratliff a key to the home and would allow him to stay over when the homeowner was out of town.

The report states the teen said she was "more than friends" with Ratliff, and the two have had sexual intercourse.

Ratliff is being held at the Charleston County Detention Center.
