CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston shoppers will have a new clothing store to check out beginning Thursday afternoon.
Popular Swedish retailer H&M is set to open its doors in downtown Charleston at noon. The store is located in the Kress Building at 281 King Street.
People began lining up at the entrance of the new store beginning at 5 a.m. Thursday for the chance to win an all access fashion pass. The first 300 shoppers will get the pass, which could be valued at up to $300 off purchases.
This is the company's first South Carolina location, although not for long.
H&M will open its second location at the Tanger Outlet Center in North Charleston next fall.
