Police search for suspect in N. Charleston liquor store robbery

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The North Charleston Police Department is on the lookout for a man who robbed a liquor store Friday morning.

Authorities say shortly after 10 a.m., a man armed with a gun demanded money at the ABC liquor store on 3308 Rivers Ave.

After receiving cash, the man left the area in a white Ford Expedition which was seen traveling down Troy Avenue.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing latex gloves, a black hoodie and a bandana covering his face. According to police, the man was also seen carrying a book bag.
