List of Lubbock restaurants open on Christmas Day

Families all across the South Plains are busy planning their Christmas feasts, however, some may want to stay out of the kitchen. With two days left until Christmas, there's still time to make plans.

The Pecan Grille at the Overton Hotel it's the place to go if you're looking for Christmas dinner with all the fixings. From 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Christmas Day, the Pecan Grille will serve a Christmas buffet to your family for $32 per adult. Overton's Director of Sales and Marketing, Marcie Reno, says it's easier to let someone else do the cooking this year.

"I think a great reason to come out here is because you don't have to cook Christmas dinner. It's going to be delicious, you're going to have all your traditional favorites," Reno said.

The Pecan Grille does require reservations, please call 776-7010 if you plan to attend the buffet.

Buffalo Wild Wings is also open on Christmas Day if you're looking for a tall after dinner beer. The 19th Street location is open from 5 p.m. until close and the University location opens up at 2 p.m.

"It's nice for somewhere to be open late at Christmas because everybody has spent all day with their families maybe they want to come out and get out of the house," Buffalo Wild Wings cashier, Sarah Mylander said.

If you're looking for a Christmas Day coffee, Starbucks is the place to go. Times vary across Lubbock, but all stores will open.
