Duo sought for Pizza Hut armed robbery on Johns Island

JOHNS ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - The Charleston Police Department has released surveillance pictures of an armed robbery at a Johns Island restaurant.

Authorities say the robbery happened at the Pizza Hut on 1828 Bohicket Road.

A police report states a suspect armed with a long-barreled revolver went into the restaurant and demanded an employee to open a safe.

According to police, another suspect was armed with a shotgun and was outside with another victim.  According to authorities, that suspect was armed with a long barreled shotgun with a brown wooden stock.

Police say both suspects fled on foot toward the area of Haut Gap School

Investigators are asking anyone with information on the incident or related robberies in the area to call police at 720-2487 or Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
