It will be fairly quite on Christmas Day for much of the U.S. Only one part of the country will see snow, while most of us will be dry.
Who will see snow?
A weak system will produce snow showers in the Midwest U.S. on Christmas Day including Minneapolis and Chicago.
This won't be a major event, and no major travel problems are anticipated.
That's it! No snow is expected anywhere else in the U.S. on Christmas.
Sunny and cold
Atlanta will see a spectacular Christmas with sunny skies.
Unfortunately, the cold weather will stick around with the city waking up to 20s on Christmas morning. It won't warm up much with afternoon temperatures only reaching into the 40s. Temperatures will drop back into the 20s Christmas night.
South Texas and Florida
Rain showers can be expected in South Texas and along the east Florida coast on Christmas Day, including Corpus Christi and Miami.
