Live 5 Meteorologist Justin Lock has your Friday forecast:
A warmer and drier day is on tap for the Lowcountry and a big rain maker heads our way this weekend with the threat of thunderstorms.
Today, look for partly to mostly cloudy skies with highs warmer than yesterday at 58° inland and 54° on the coast. Winds will be out of the north at 10 mph.
Tonight, some clouds will continue to stick around with a chilly night near 40 inland and mid 40s along the coastline.
On Saturday clouds will thicken up with a stray shower possible but the main rain event won't arrive until around daybreak on Sunday.
Have a great one!
