Lowcountry natives AJ Green and Robert Quinn were voted into the Pro Bowl on Friday night by fans, coaches and fellow players. This will be the 1st Pro Bowl without conference affiliation as the teams will be chosen by Captains Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders on January 22nd.
Green, a Summerville alum, is going to the Pro Bowl for the 3rd time in his 3 year career. The Bengals WR has 94 catches for 1365 yards and 10 touchdowns. He's 76 yards away from setting the franchise record for receiving yards in a season.
Quinn, a Ft. Dorchester alum, will be heading to Hawaii for the 1st time in his 3 year career. The Rams DE is currently leading the entire NFL in sacks with 18 and tied for the lead league in forced fumbles with 7.
The Pro Bowl will take place January 26th from Honolulu.
