Sunshine and mild temps kick off the workweek

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Live 5 Meteorologist Justin Lock has your Monday forecast:

Quiet, dry and seasonably cool weather will help end the year but rain and some much colder air arrives for 2014.

Today will be a beauty with mostly sunny skies and highs in the low 60s inland and along the coastline with a light west wind.

Tonight, skies become partly cloudy but still dry with lows falling into the mid 40s inland and low 50s on the beaches.

More sun and clouds for Tuesday with highs in the 60s followed by cooler air by New Years day with late week rain and cold set to arrive.

Enjoy!  Have a great Monday.
