SENECA, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies arrested and charged two teens after a home invasion turned fatal in Seneca Thursday, according to Jimmy Watt of the Oconee County Sheriff's Office.

Donte Bacon, 16, and James Toward, 18, are facing multiple charges in connection with the incident including murder, first degree burglary and kidnapping, Watt said.

According to warrants, Toward and Bacon caused the death of Scott Andrew Johnson, a 32-year-old man from Washington state who died after being shot in the chest during the home invasion.

Watt said a woman called 911 at 7:36 a.m. Thursday after two masked men barged into her home on Ames Street and tied her up.

He said the woman reported that her boyfriend was shot and she was taken to the hospital with an injury to her foot.

According to Oconee County Coroner Karl Addis, Johnson was staying at the house with the woman, who is also from Washington state, and is going to Clemson University.

Watt said Toward and Bacon reportedly stole three electric guitars from the scene of the homicide.

Addis said the autopsy results will be released on Friday.
