Charleston flights canceled as winter storm hits northeast

Storm impacts Lowcountry travelers

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Several flights set to depart from Charleston International Airport have been canceled Friday as a winter storm continues to pound northeastern United States.

According to the airport's website, flights to and from Newark, New Jersey, JFK in New York, Chicago O'Hare Airport, and other locations have been canceled.

Multiple airlines are affected by the cancellations.
