CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - A man accused of setting fires to homes in the Charleston area pleaded guilty Thursday morning to setting one fire and an attempted arson.
A judge sentenced 56-year-old Kenny Boone to ten years in prison.
Authorities say Boone set fire to a porch at a home in Hollywood in September of 2012. Investigators say Boone planned to set the same home on fire in November of that year.
The judge gave Boone credit for the time he served in jail and under house arrest; a total of 411 days.
