LAURENS COUNTY, S.C. (WYFF) —An Upstate man is facing charges after deputies say he accessed his employer's payroll accounts and gave himself a $105,000 raise and also used the company credit card to purchase personal items totaling more than $53,000.

Earl Frank Alexander Jr., 50, of Gray Court, is charged with two counts of breach of trust with fraudulent intent.

According to arrest warrants, between Jan. 1, 2008 and Nov. 12, 2013 Alexander was employed with Central Supply Co. Inc. of Fountain Inn and used a company credit card to purchase items for personal use worth $53,909.10

The warrants said he also gained access to the company payroll and gave himself a pay increase of $106,116.09 without proper authorization.

The incident report said Alexander was an employee at the business for more than 26 years and was terminated on Nov. 8, 2013.
