Man arrested in connection with Burton armed robberies

BURTON, SC (WTOC) -

A man has been arrested in connection with two armed robberies of Burton area businesses.

Marvin Ellis Frazier, 46, was arrested Friday at his Seabrook him after witnesses positively identified him as the suspect in the Jan. 2 armed robbery of the China Wok restaurant.

Investigators obtained warrants for charges of armed robbery, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime and felon in possession of a handgun.

During interviews after Frazier's arrest, he was also identified as the suspect in the Jan. 5 armed robbery of Sunhouse Petroleum.

Frazier was charged with additional charges of armed robbery, kidnapping, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, felon in possession of a handgun and pointing and presenting a firearm at a person.
