GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) - A 20-year-old Goose Creek man has been arrested after an investigation uncovered over 3,000 child pornography photos and multiple videos on the suspect's computer, according to authorities.

Alexander Green was arrested on January 5 and charged with four counts of third degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

An incident report states Naval Criminal Investigative Service agents received a tip on December 4 that Green had been downloading and viewing child pornography on his home computer at 69 Webster Street.

On December 5, NCIS and Goose Creek police searched Green's home and seized several items, including his computer, officials say. Green was not home at the time of the search.

Authorities say a forensic analysis of Green's computer uncovered over 3,000 photos and 45 videos of nude or semi-nude juvenile females.

An incident report states Green was taken into custody by the Naval Weapon Station Police Department on January 5, and transferred into the custody of Goose Creek police.

According to an affidavit, Green confessed to downloading and viewing child pornography at his home.

Green is being held at the Berkeley County Detention Center. His bond was set at $160,000.
