Suspects sought in West Ashley vehicle break-ins

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston County deputies are asking for the public's help in identifying two men who are believed to be responsible for several vehicle break-ins in West Ashley.

According to an incident report, a truck at a home on Vestry Drive was broken into on December 9. Money and a debit card were both taken from the vehicle.

Deputies say the stolen debit card was later used to purchase $95 worth of gas at the Shell Station on Ashley River Road, and was also used to rent several Red Box movies.

Deputies say two men who are believed to be responsible for this break-in and others were captured on surveillance video.
