BEAUFORT COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

Investigators say a 40-year-old man is behind bars after exposing himself to a woman at a Beaufort County business.

The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office has charged Benjamin Griffin Jr. with indecent exposure.

Deputies responded to Memory Matters on 117 William Hilton Pkwy. in reference to a report of a man exposing himself.

The 35-year-old victim told deputies that a man, later identified as Griffin, walked into the business asking for help.

The victim said she then asked Griffin to have a seat in the waiting area.

An incident report states when she returned, Griffin's pants were unzipped, and his genitalia was exposed.

The victim then called the sheriff's office.
