PRESCOTT, AZ (AP) -

A statue donated to Prescott by the Wildland Firefighter Foundation has been moved to a different station in the city to enhance its public accessibility and visibility.

The statue was donated to Prescott to honor the Granite Mountain Hotshots.

Nineteen members of the elite crew died June 30 when winds shifted during the Yarnell Hill Fire and trapped the men in a brush-choked bowl after they left an area already burned.

More than 100 homes were destroyed in Yarnell, northwest of Phoenix.

The statue had been at Prescott Fire Station 7.

It's now at Fire Station 71, which is shared by the Prescott Fire Department and Prescott National Forest Fire Engine 930.
