Water issues close Georgetown Co. schools in Andrews

ANDREWS, SC (WCSC) - Georgetown County School District officials say a number of schools in the City of Andrews will be closed Friday due to water issues.

Officials say water pressure problems have resulted in the cancellation of classes at Andrews Elementary, Rosemary Middle and Andrews High Schools.

Students who are already at school or who were picked up by a bus will be taken care of at the schools.

Buses will be running on a two-hour delay, picking up children who are already at their bus stops and have no one to watch them at home. Afternoon buses will leave the schools beginning at noon.

Employees need to report at 9:30 a.m.
