CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC/AP) - Freezing rain has come to an end in the Lowcountry as we head into the overnight hours with no precipitation expected.
It will be a quiet 24 hours ahead.
Currently, temperatures throughout the Lowcountry are in the mid to upper 30s and low 40s.
Temperatures will be dipping down overnight and into Friday morning into the low 30s and below the freezing mark.
An ice storm warning was canceled earlier in the day for the Lowcountry, but ice covered limbs and trees inland will continue to fall possibly creating more power outages and headaches.
