Version 6.3.5 includes advanced features to support Microsoft Lync®, Aruba and mobile softphone users
CHICAGO, Feb. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- RedSky Technologies, Inc., the leading provider of automated E911 solutions, today announced Version 6.3.5 of E911 Manager® and E911 Anywhere®, the leading enterprise software and cloud solutions for E911. E911 Manager v6.3.5 now supports Aruba RAP-3 Remote Access Points enabling E911 support for remote WiFi users connected to the enterprise voice network. E911 Manager® also supports ALI location queries using HELD, a Next Generation 9-1-1 protocol, allowing E911 Manager® to function as a high performance ALI database supporting HELD and traditional serial queries from PSAP workstations.
E911 Anywhere® Version 6.3.5, RedSky's cloud-based 9-1-1 call routing service, now supports 9-1-1 calls from Microsoft Lync®. E911 Anywhere® can now accept 9-1-1 calls from Lync® with embedded location (PIDF-LO) and route the 9-1-1 call to the correct PSAP based on the location. Additionally, E911 Anywhere® now supports 9-1-1 call recording, with "listen-in" and "barge-in" capabilities, allowing enterprise security teams to have a much more active role in the monitoring of 9-1-1 calls. E911 Anywhere® Version 6.3.5 includes the new feature, Web-based MyE911®. The browser-based version of MyE911® now allows end users the ability to update their location in real-time without needing to involve the telephony administrator. Practical uses of the Web-based MyE911® feature include VPN hard phones, softphones running on tablets, Web RTC users, as well as many other applications.
