CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston County School District officials say a lock down at West Ashley High School has been lifted after bullets were found on a school bus Friday morning.
Jason Sakran says the school was placed under code yellow administrative lock down for three hours earlier this morning, and all access to and from the building was being restricted.
According to an incident report, several bullets were found on a bus that was stationed at the school around 7:15 a.m.
The lock down was lifted around 10:45 a.m. after no bullets or firearms were found on campus or in the school building, according to Sakran.
All operations in the school resumed as normal during the lock down.
