Forward MattFirman started the scoring at 5:03 slipping a wrist shot under the blockerof York fromthe top of the crease. Moments later, rookie Matt Caria buried his 20goal of the season at 6:55. Forward Justin Taylor made it 3-0 on thepower-play tipping in a pass from defenseman Jeremie Blain inside the farpost. Former Stingrays forward Ryan Del Monte struck on the manadvantage at 12:28.
Firmanburied his second tally of the game at 18:34 of the second period to give theWings a five-goal lead. Defenseman Dustin Cloutier completed the scoringat 4:12 of the final frame. The contest featured 116 total penalty minutes with92 arriving in the third period.
