CBS sets premiere date for legal series set in Charleston

NEW YORK (CBS) - CBS announced a premiere date for the legal drama that is set in the Holy City.

The network announced Tuesday that it will launch "Reckless" on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at 9:00 p.m. The show, described as a "sultry legal drama," filmed in several locations around the Lowcountry last summer and in the fall.

The show stars stars Anna Wood, Cam Gigandet, Shawn Hatosy, Adam Rodriguez, Georgina Haig, Kim Wayans, Gregory Harrison and Michael Gladis.

The plot follows a northern litigator and a southern attorney who must battle their "intense mutual attraction" as a police sex scandal threatens their city, according to a network release.

"Reckless" is one of five shows premiering during the summer, CBS announced.

"Unforgettable," a crime drama featuring Poppy Montgomery as a police detective with a rare condition that allows her to remember the details of every moment in her life, returns to the schedule on the same night as "Reckless" at 10:00 p.m.

A new cycle of "Big Brother" will debut on Wednesday, June 25 at 8:00 p.m.

"Under the Dome," based on a novel by Stephen King, returns for its second season on Monday, June 30 at 10:00 p.m. The show tells the story of a small town suddenly sealed off from the rest of the world by a transparent dome and the residents' fight for survival.

"Extant," a new mystery thriller starring Halle Berry, premieres Wednesday, July 9 at 9:00 p.m. According to a release from CBS,  the story focuses on a female astronaut trying to reconnect with her family after being in outer space for a year. Her experiences, the release says, lead to events that will change the course of human history.
