Florida Georgia Line to play summer show at Joe Riley Park

Platinum recording county duo Florida Georgia Line will "cruise" into the Lowcountry in June for a show at the home of the Riverdogs as part of their upcoming summertime baseball stadium tour.

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Florida Georgia Line will play Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park on June 12. Joining the band are special guest Nelly and opening act Chris Lane.

The duo is headlining "This is How We Roll Summer Series 2014" which will bring the acts to a number of baseball stadiums across the U.S.

"Last year we played the ballpark in Lexington, Kentucky and it was an epic night," said Brian Kelley in a statement. "We thought how fun would it be to hit several of these and bring the good times to the field!"

In addition to playing at The Joe, the tour will also make stops at Arvest Ballpark in Springdale, AR, Trustmark Park in Pearl, MS, and McCormick Field in Asheville, NC. Other dates are to still be announced.

Florida Georgia Line burst onto the country music scene in 2012 with their chart-topping hit "Cruise." Other hits include "Round Here," "Get Your Shine On," and "Stay."
