CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Traffic along I-26 eastbound is moving slowly Monday morning after an earlier wreck caused major delays.
SCDOT officials say a wreck was blocking the center lane on I-26 eastbound at mile marker 209 near Ashley Phosphate Road Monday morning. The wreck has since been moved to the shoulder, but is still causing delays.
According to Live 5 Traffic Tracker, the drive time from Summerville to downtown on I-26 eastbound is around 50 minutes, and roughly 40 minutes from Summerville to the interchange.
